Dr. Chen received his PhD from Columbia University in 2003 and held postdoc positions at the University of Florida, Cornell University, and MIT. From 2009 to 2013, he was a Stephen Hawking Advanced Fellow at the University of Cambridge. Dr. Chen was an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas, Dallas, and joined Harvard University in 2016.

Early universe models, primordial density perturbations, cosmic microwave background, large scale structure, dark matter, and string cosmology
