Laura is interested in developing machine learning (ML) techniques that enable new discoveries in high energy physics and astrophysics experiments. After working at SLAC on novel ML methods for liquid argon time projection chamber-based neutrino detectors such as ICARUS, she joined the Galileo Project to help design ML-based scalable experimental approaches to collecting the first scientific survey of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.
