Abstract: Exoplanet direct imaging and light curve inversion techniques could yield subcontinent-scale exoplanet maps suitable for bio- and techno-marker detection within 5 years. We just need to think differently about large telescopes. This discussion will describe the roadmap the PLANETS foundation has for reaching this goal.
