    ABSTRACT: Several groups have demonstrated the existence of an excess in the gamma-ray emission around the Galactic Center (GC) with respect to the predictions from a variety of Galactic Interstellar Emission Models (GIEMs) and point source catalogs.     "ALMA polarization of HL Tau - investigating the planet formation"

    Abstract:  Constraining the grain size in protoplanetary disks is a key to understanding the first stage of planet formation. The grain size has been estimated by measuring the spectral index at millimeter wavelengths, while it has huge uncertainties. We have proposed that millimeter-wave polarization is another method to constrain the grain size.     "Charged compact star mergers, fast radio bursts, and relativistic astronomy"

    Abstract: I will discuss three topics. First, I will discuss the effect of the charge of a compact object in binary compact star mergers (BH-BH, NS-BH & NS-NS) and argue that a likely outcome is a short duration electromagnetic counterpart (with slight delay) coinciding with the gravitational wave chirp signal, either in the form of a short GRB if the charge is large enough, or more likely in the form of a fast radio burst (FRB).
