    "High-energy neutrino emission associated with tidal disruption events"

    Tidal disruption events (TDEs) are a good probe of supermassive black holes (SMBHs) at the center of inactive galaxies. A star approaches the SMBH in a parabolic orbit, is destroyed by the SMBH tidal force. The disrupted remnant falls back to the SMBH, producing a characteristic flare that lasts for several months. Recent multi-wavelength and multi-messager observations have revealed the diversity of TDEs.
