Anna Patej one of three finalists for the APS Division of Astrophysics Thesis Award

 

Harvard Astronomy graduate student Anna Patej (Harvard, 2016) has been  selected as one of three finalists for the 2017 APS Division of Astrophysics Thesis Award, which recognizes original doctoral thesis work of outstanding scientific quality in the area of astrophysics. The pool of nominations was very impressive and it is a great accomplishment to make it into the final round. The DAP Executive Committee congratulates you on this honor in recognition of your thesis work.

As one of three finalists, Dr. Patej has been invited to present her work in a special invited session at the 2017 APS April Meeting, January 28-31, 2017,  in Washington DC.
